Field Trip

I was co-room mother for S's Kindergarten class. One of the field trips that I got to chaperone was a trip to a pumpkin patch. We invited our Birrd friends to go on this one with us because she wanted to take her kids to a pumpkin patch and didn't know where one was. So we went to this one just south of the city together! It was a lot of fun - we walked through a corn maze (they had it marked off so no one got lost, plus we were just a giant snake walking through all together so we wouldn't have gotten separated from the group anyways). Then each of the kids got to feed some goats and sheep a handful of food, then we went over to a field where they had rolled out a bunch of pumpkins for the kids to pick their own pumpkin. Then they took us on a hay ride back to the beginning. Not much, but it made the kids happy!
