2 Weeks

So we have survived 2 weeks with our new baby. Better said, the baby has survived 2 weeks with US!!! She had an exciting 2 weeks - her blood sugar was REALLY low in the hospital right after she was born (it went up, thank goodness!), her bilirubin was too high when we left the hospital, so we had to go back up SEVERAL times to get it re-checked. Not to mention the 13 other kids (all under 9) that are consistently "loving" her lots. And after 48 hours on the bililights, her count was finally back into normal level. At her 2 week appointment, she has gained weight - she now weighs 9 lbs, and grew 1 inch so she is 22 inches long. She is GENERALLY a good baby, although she is learning quickly that she CAN cry and get a reaction. She also has started spitting up a bunch after eating - I need to recheck MY diet to see if it is the cause of it. Overall, we've all done a pretty good job adjusting to being a family of 7.
