We did it! We got our baby here 9-9-09! Hurray! The doctor induced me about 8:00 on Wednesday morning. He broke my water by about 9:30, I had my epidural about 10:00, and I was ready to push by about 12:30. I had 2 good pushes, and POP! out she came! I surprised the nurse and doctor - the baby nurse was still setting up! It went really well! She is a healthy kid - 8 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches long. Her bilirubin has bin a little bit high, so she has had to spend 2 days under the bililights. So dad has nicknamed her the blue light special (the lights are VERY blue!) We are VERY glad that she made it into this world healthy and strong! Her sisters are glad, too!
