We had a very rare opportunity this weekend. There is a traveling replica of the Vietnam Memorial, and it happened to stop in our valley this weekend. Plus my dad was singing at a program to honor the MIA's and POW's of all the wars, so we went to listen to him and see the memorial. The hubby has seen this in real life, but I'm SOOOOO glad that we took the time to go and see the replica. It was amazing. It was a neat experience that I'm glad that I could be a part of, and I'm glad I could talk to my kids about this.
