Week 2 of this church schedule and we had stake conference. I was actually really excited to go to stake conference, especially because I knew that I'd be DONE for the day by 12:00!! The adult session last night was wonderful, with advice about work, charity, the Book of Mormon and like. Today's session was great, too, although it is difficult to get much out of meetings when accompanied by 4 little ones. The fifth (A) got to sing in the stake youth choir that performed. She has been SOO nervous for today! She kept telling me that she has sung in front of wards before, but there was going to be so many people there she was really nervous! They sounded great, though, and really brought a neat spirit to the meeting.
Other happenings this week:
We went to our first gymnastics meet on Friday. We went with my sister and their family to the USU vs SUU meet. It was kids night, so it was free for under 14 - thus, we went!! The kids had such a good time there. They enjoyed watching them flip, balance, dance, spin, everything else they do with gymnastics!
A is now with an older activity days group. She meets with the 10-11 year-olds, which makes S sad. Sad because the older group is more consistent in meeting more than anything!!
The hubby is still over the Webelos, and we are currently working on the artist activity badge. He enjoys being able to use his talents for good!
We apparently have a really "exciting" life! Not much else happened around here this week. Until next time!
